Thomas Black, MD
CO-FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNER
Thomas is a board certified physician in Emergency Medicine. Prior to matriculation to medical school, he worked for Wells Fargo Financial overseeing residential mortgage loans. He and his wife, Micaela, who is a licensed realtor in Texas, have owned numerous single and multifamily assets and are well-versed in foreclosure acquisitions. The couple has designed, developed, and stabilized “A” class multifamily assets in Texas. Tom is an active blogger in the healthcare community and passionate about translating high income earners into high net worth individuals through passive real estate investing.
CO-FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNER
Tim has spent his 30-year career at Six Flags Theme Parks and Great Wolf Resorts. Throughout this 30-year span, Tim became well versed in operations, strategic planning, marketing, sales, revenue management and real estate development. He is the former Chief Operating Officer for Great Wolf Resorts, which owns 14 Resort properties in North America. Tim worked closely with Private Equity to develop new resorts, maximize revenue through pricing and demand, digital marketing and implementing new revenue streams.
VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE
Abel is responsible for assisting in the sourcing, evaluation, execution and monitoring of investments. Prior to joining Napali, Abel worked at KPMG in their Transaction Services practice with a focus on private equity clients. He has been involved in numerous transactions, with an emphasis on financial due diligence, in various industries ranging from the energy sector, manufacturing, healthcare, to client services. Abel graduated from Brigham Young University and received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
VICE PRESIDENT OF INSURANCE
Micaela has a Bachelor of Arts degree in applied business technology. In addition she is licensed realtor in the state of Texas as well as currently working toward her CPMI certification in insurance. Along with Tom she as been avidly involved in real estate investment and development as a team. Within the company Micaela handles all marketing and insurance needs as well as asset management.
McKensie has a strong administrative background with years of Executive Assistant to multiple C- Level staff for a large resort company. McKensie graduated from University of Milwaukee- Wisconsin with a Bachelors in both Criminal Justice and Psychology as well as attained her Project Management Certification in 2016. She has many years of experience in various fields including real estate, hospitality and entertainment. Within the company, McKensie handles all Executive Administrative needs as well as all email marketing.
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
Caroline manages communications and media for the company. She has more than 15 years of experience in the field, working with both public and private companies specializing in commercial, resort and multifamily real estate and development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from of Baylor University.
